Rules and regulations of our online shop

  • 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
  1. These Rules and Regulations are the regulations for the provision of services by electronic means, referred to in Article 8(1) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (the “Regulations”).
  2. The Rules and Regulations define:
    a. types and scope of services provided by electronic means within the framework of an internet shop operating under the domain www.skrawmet.com run by SKRAWMET Zakład Tokarsko-Slusarski Grzegorz Karwowski, with its registered office at the following address: 12-200 Pisz, ul. Warszawska 55D, NIP: 8491001963
    b. terms of entering into the sales agreement;
    c. terms of terminating the sales agreement;
    d. right to withdraw from the sales agreement;
    e. method of payment;
    f. costs, methods and time of delivering products;
    g. complaint and guarantee procedure;
    h. out-of-court settlement of complaints and claims.
  3. The Seller, on its own or at the request of the Customer, makes the Rules and Regulations available prior to entering into the agreement for the provision of services by electronic means in a form which makes it possible to acquire, reproduce and record the substance of these Rules and Regulations by means of a data communications system used by the Customer.
  4. These Rules and Regulations are continuously available on the website of the Service Provider in such a manner that they can be obtained, reproduced and recorded by printing or saving them on a medium at any time.
  5. The Service Provider-Seller is SKRAWMET Zakład Tokarsko-Ślusarski Grzegorz Karwowski, with its registered office at the following address: 12-200 Pisz, ul. Warszawska 55D, NIP:
    8491001963. The Service Recipient-Customer is the natural person, legal person or organisational unit without legal personality using the service provided by electronic means.
  • 2. DEFINITIONS
    The terms used herein bear the following meanings:
    1. The Service Provider-Seller – SKRAWMET Zakład Tokarsko-Ślusarski Grzegorz Karwowski, with its registered office at the following address: 12-200 Pisz, ul. Warszawska 55D, NIP: 8491001963.
  1. The Service Recipient-Customer – a natural person with full legal capacity, a natural person running a business, a legal person or an organisational unit which is not a legal person but to which specific provisions grant legal capacity, using the services at the online shop and placing orders there.
  2. Consumer – a customer who is a consumer within the meaning of Article 22(2) of the Polish Civil Code.
  3. Entrepreneur – Customer who is an entrepreneur within the meaning of Article 43(1) of the Polish Civil Code.
  4. Account – an electronic service with an individual login and password for the Customer to perform actions at the Online Shop.
  5. Rules and Regulations – this document.
  6. Goods/Product – a movable item, a product offered for sale at the Online Shop.
  7. Sale agreement – an agreement of sale of the Goods within the meaning of Article 535 of the Polish Civil Code, entered into by and between the Seller and the Customer.
  8. Services – services provided by the Seller by electronic means within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services.
  9. Order – the Customer’s declaration of intent to enter into the Sales Agreement, specifying the type and quantity of such Goods as are to be purchased.
  • 3. RULES OF USING THE ONLINE SHOP
    1. The Seller provides services on behalf of the Customer to the extent and under the conditions specified herein.
  1. The Seller undertakes to comply herewith.
  2. In relation to the provision of electronic services, the Service Provider uses software and technology ensuring the security, confidentiality and integrity of the data/information transmitted.
  3. The Customer is obliged to:
    a. have access to the Internet;
    b. have a currently supported Internet browser
     c. have access to e-mail.
  4. It is prohibited for Customers to provide unlawful content and to use it in a manner that is not onerous for other Customers and the Seller.
  5. The use of the Online Shop means any action by the Customer leading to them becoming acquainted with the content of the Online Shop.
  • 4. SERVICES
    1. The Seller enables the Customer to use the services offered at the Online Shop free of charge.
  1. The service provided by electronic means by the service provider is the sale of metal products for the home, garden and office and components for display systems.
  2. The Service Recipients may terminate the use of the electronically provided service free of charge at any time, as well as interrupt any contractual process by finalising the ordering process at the online shop.
  3. The services the Service Provider provides by electronic means are free of charge.
  • 5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTERING INTO AND TERMINATING THE SALES AGREEMENT AND THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE AGREEMENT
    1. The Customer has the option to enter into the sales agreement by electronic means by filling in a form available at the Online Shop as part of the electronic services being provided.
  1. The Agreement is entered into upon:
    a. acceptance of the content of the Order sent to the Customer;
    b. acceptance of its performance;
     c. acceptance of the content hereof;
     d. confirmation of acquaintance with the right to withdraw from the Agreement.
  2. The sales agreement is entered into in the Polish language, with its substance in accordance herewith.
  3. The Customer-Consumer may withdraw from the sales agreement by completing and sending a declaration to the Service Provider’s e-mail address or by registered letter to the company’s registered address, within fourteen (14) days from entering into the agreement.
  4. The Customer-Consumer may withdraw from the Agreement without giving any reason.
  5. In the event of withdrawal from the Agreement entered into at a distance, the Agreement is deemed not to have been entered into.
  6. The Seller will immediately, but no later than within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the Customer’s declaration of withdrawal from the Agreement, refund all payments made by the Customer, including such costs as may have been incurred due to delivering the Goods.
  7. The Seller may terminate the agreement for the provision of electronic services with immediate effect if the Customer provides unlawful content or violates the substance hereof.
  • 6. METHOD OF PAYMENT
    1. The prices of the Goods are specified in Polish zloty and include all such components as VAT, customs duties and other charges.
  1. The payment for the Order can be made by:
    a. payment to the Seller’s bank account Bank PKO BP: 55 1020 4753 0000 0002 0112 0567;
    b. making an electronic payment;
     c. to the courier on delivery.
  • 7. COSTS, METHODS AND DEADLINES FOR DELIVERING PRODUCTS
    1. The delivery of the Goods is possible in the Republic of Poland and throughout the European Union.
  1. The Seller provides for the following forms of delivery of the Goods:
    a. via courier company;
    b. via parcel lockers
  2. The Customer bears the delivery costs depending on the delivery method selected.
  3. Order processing time:
    a. in the territory of the Republic of Poland is five (5) working days from the day of placing the Order;
    b. in the territory of the European Union is ten (10) working days from the day of placing the Order.
  • 8. COMPLAINT AND GUARANTEE PROCEDURE
    1. The Customer may lodge a complaint about the services provided in writing, failing which the complaint is rendered null and void.
  1. The complaint submitted should contain a brief description of the problem that is the subject of the complaint and the date and time of its occurrence.
  2. Complaints should be sent to the Seller’s address by registered mail to the following address: SKRAWMET, 12-200 Pisz, ul. Warszawska 55D.
  3. Complaints will be considered by the Service Provider within fourteen (14) days of receipt and, in the case of particularly complex cases, within thirty (30) days of the receipt of the complaint.
  4. The Seller will notify the Customer of the outcome of the complaint by a letter in writing sent to the applicant’s postal address.
  5. Goods may have a manufacturer’s, seller’s or importer’s guarantee. If the Goods are covered by a guarantee, information related to the existence and content of the guarantee and the period for which it is granted will be included in each case in the description of the Goods on the Shop’s website.
  • 9. OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT OF COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
    1. The Customer-Consumer has the option to use out-of-court ways of dealing with complaints and pursuing claims, i.e.:
    a. to apply to the provincial inspector of the Trade Inspection with a request to initiate mediation proceedings for an amicable settlement of a dispute between the Customer and the Seller;
    b. file a complaint via the EU ODR Internet platform, available at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/;
     c. obtain free assistance in resolving a dispute between the Customer and the Seller with the help of the Consumer Federation or the Association of Polish Consumers, to name two examples.
  • 10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
    The Seller collects and processes the personal data provided by the Customers in accordance with the applicable legislation and in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which constitutes Annex 1 hereto.
  • 11. FINAL PROVISIONS
    1. These Rules and Regulations are effective from 1 June 2025 onwards.
  1. The Seller has the right to amend the provisions hereof for justified reasons, e.g. changes in applicable legal provisions.

  3. These Rules and Regulations may be recorded, downloaded, reproduced, at any time by printing or saving them on a suitable data storage device.
  4. As regards matters not covered hereunder, the following provisions apply accordingly:
    a. Polish Civil Code;
    b. the Polish Act on rendering electronic services,
     c. the Polish Act on consumer rights and other relevant provisions of Polish law.
  5. The competent court for any disputes between the Seller and the Customer will be the court having jurisdiction over the Seller’s registered office.
